It seems like gadgets are getting smaller and smaller these days. This is clearly proved right now with the various mini notes coming out in the market. And to go with the flow HP is also having their mini notes to compete with the other manufacturers.
This 10.3 in (L) x 6.56 in (W) x 0.99 in (H) Mini 1000 features an Intel Atom N270 1.6-gigahertz (GHz) processor and available in either 8.9" or 10.2" widescreen display (1,024 x 600)
The HP Mini 1000 will have either 512MB or 1GB DDR2 and HDD options include 8GB or 16GB SSD, or a 60GB HDD. You can also use the in house HP Mini Mobile Drive accessory to boost storage by up to 8GB. The HP Mini 1000 can be small but this notebook can really replace those huge and bulky laptops we have.
