Sony Enters Into The Market Of Tablet Devices And Introduces The Sony Tablet S and P

Sony announces on August 31, 2001 their first two tablet devices namely the Sony Tablet S and the Sony Tablet P as they enter into the market of tablet PC.

 The Sony Tablet S will be available in Europe starting the end of September 2011. It boasts of its 23.8cm or 9.4” touch screen display. NVIDIA Tegra 2 will be the processor of this stylish tablet pc and is available in Wi-Fi only version as well as Wi-Fi + 3G version, which on the other hand will be available in November 2011.






Gamers on the other hand will definitely enjoy the Sony Tablet S and P because; they can play PlayStation games in this lovely device.

Music lovers will love the launch of Sony’s cloud-based digital music service called the “Music Unlimited”, which will also be offered to Sony Table S users.

E-book readers will also enjoy the expanding catalogue of eBooks, which is ideal for mobile reading. The catalogues will be available in UK be the end of October and in Germany before the year-ends.

The Sony Tablet S will also allow users to share photos and videos easily with the cloud-based services it has.


Connectivity of the Sony Tablet S is exceptional. It allows users to shares contents wirelessly from their tablet PC to their DLNA-compatible devices as well as streaming music to a wireless speaker. The Sony Table S will also have the Infrared technology.

Applications installed in the Sony Tablet S as well the Sony Tablet P allow the users to have instant access to video, music, games, eBooks, Google mobile services, 3D maps, and more.

When you buy the Sony Tablet S, accessory options include AC Adaptor, LCD screen protector, carrying cases, USB adaptor cable, and Bluetooth keyboard.
